For several years ,Swift School teachers have partnered with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. They created interdisciplinary units of study, attended several amazing field trips, and created beautiful original music. Watching my students fearlessly perform their original compositions for a room full of people including cellist and music education advocate, Yo-Yo Ma was one of the most thrilling moments of my career. I couldn't have been more proud of my students.
