Fine and Performing Arts at SwiftSwift Elementary has been a neighborhood school in Edgewater since 1913. We proudly serve this diverse community, and our arts program helps us create a loving community of creative problem solvers.
Students at Swift receive a minimum of 120 hours per week of arts content. We are able to offer middle school students curricular choices including band, general music, advanced art, choirs, musical theater, and percussion ensemble. Music and Art classes use choice and composition to allow students opportunities to explore and express. We also offer programing with arts partners including Chicago Children's Choir, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Kalapriya Center for Indian Performing Arts. |
